Make a long-term investment in
your community by supporting the house-building, hope building work of Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity. Give a family in your
community a hand up – not a hand out. All contributions of money, materials and land are tax deductible.
Who can help Habitat for Humanity?
Everyone! Churches, individuals, businesses and community groups all can partner with Habitat to help. These
contributors are providing important donations of money, building materials, expertise and volunteer meals.

ACCEPTED DONATIONS
- Monetary Donations: Tax-deductible individual or corporate financial contributions and bequests are accepted.
- In-Kind Donations (Materials): Donate new construction materials or gently used tools and materials.
- Donation of Land: Donate land on which we can build houses.
- Donation of Stocks or other Investments: Investments can be donated to
Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity. Contact us for additional
information.

Donors may designate donations for
a particular building project or purpose. All donations are tax deductible and receipts will be provided.

HOW TO MAKE A DONATION
To make a tax-deductible monetary donation:
- By mail: Print out our Donation Form, fill out and mail in with your donation.
- Online: Donate through Habitat for Humanity International online at www.habitat.org.
** Be sure to "Designate Your Gift" to Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity in Step 2 **
This will ensure that your donation is allocated to Manitowoc County.
- By phone (credit card donations only): Call (920) 683-8466 to make a credit card contribution.
- Make a planned gift: Consider a bequest to Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity in your will or make Habitat a beneficiary of an insurance policy.
- IRA distribution: Transfer your minimum distributions directly to
Habitat for Humanity. Contact your IRA custodian or accountant to
help arrange for the transfer and receive the associated tax
benefits.
To make an in-kind donation:
- Please call Habitat for Humanity if
interested in making in-kind donations. Do not hesitate to call if
you are unsure whether the item or items you have can be used by
Habitat.
WHEN TO DONATE
Our calendars are full
of great occasions to donate to Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity. Use this creative alternative
to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, holidays, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day -- the list goes on. We'll even mail an acknowledgement of your gift
to the person being honored provided an address is supplied. What a great "green" way to celebrate loved ones!

ALTERNATIVES TO DONATING
Events are
held by Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity to raise awareness and raise money to continue our mission. Some of these events are
sponsored by local businesses or organizations in Manitowoc County who then donate the proceeds. We are always eager to explore
fundraising ideas and partnerships. If you, your business, church or other organization are interested in sponsoring an
