Become a Volunteer
|
Be a part of something bigger than yourself. We urge
you to join us and put your talents and time to good use.
Whether you can swing a mean hammer, cut a straight line, cook great food, paint or landscape there are ways you can help. Most
tasks only require a willingness to learn and an ability to work with others – all skill levels are welcome!

VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
We have a constant need for volunteers in many areas. Due to the tremendous amount of planning, management, fundraising and
more needed to build just one home, we rely on volunteers to partner with our families to help with construction and
day-to-day operations. Volunteer Opportunities include:
On-Site Opportunities: Framing, shingling, hanging drywall, siding, painting, landscaping, running errands, clearing refuse or
providing a meal for hungry volunteers.
|
Please Note:
- We require all construction volunteers sign and submit a Release and Waiver of Liability for each work site and ask all onsite volunteers
to register in advance.
- Wear heavy footwear; no open toed or high heel shoes are allowed on-site.
- Tools are provided but invite you to
bring your own work gloves, measuring tapes, tool belts, hammers
and/or utility knives

Off-Site Opportunities: Participating in special events or fundraising,
serving on committees, or assisting with volunteer coordination,
communication or church relations.

civic groups or community organizations. Call our office to schedule a time slot to accommodate your group’s size.

We depend on the generosity of local companies, organizations and individuals to help support our work. Volunteer labor helps
us keep the price of a house low. Your contribution whether in time, materials or funds helps us build homes, build dreams and
build communities.
All volunteer opportunities are significant to make each build successful and your help is needed!
