2018 - 2022

Manitowoc County, WI

At Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity, we are proud of our commitment to the community, helping low income families achieve home ownership. The generosity of our community allows, on average, the ability to build one new home per year.

Manitowoc County Habitat for Humanity Inc. is excited to announce that we are moving forward with plans to create a local ReStore and Affiliate office in Manitowoc County. The Board of Directors and committee members have initiated a $545,000 Capital Campaign that will provide the funding for the new building and bring the affiliate closer to becoming a self-sustaining non-profit organization.

Our local Restore will provide:

  • merchandise for sale to the public at a fraction of the retail price

  • a sustainable, steady source of income so that Habitat can assist more families in the county

  • job training opportunities to individuals in order to gain real life skills and become contributing members in society

  • a venue for volunteers of all ages to give of themselves

Habitat for Humanity ReStores are nonprofit home improvement stores and donation centers that sell new and gently used furniture, home accessories, building materials, and appliances to the public at a fraction of the retail price.  ReStores are proudly owned and operated by local Habitat for Humanity affiliates, and proceeds are used to build homes, community, and hope locally. Our ReSale Center is helping us achieve our goal of becoming a ReStore. Learn more about our Manitowoc Habitat County Resale Center.

Please help us continue our mission of providing housing and home repairs to those community members in need of assistance.  By making a donation to our Capital Campaign, you'll be directly contributing to an organization in your community whose mission is to provide housing for families in need. Without the continued support of generous donors like you, these needs will likely go unmet. You can donate online right now; please give today.
